European Club
European Club of Private Associated School Human is a voluntary association of students, teachers and parents. The club works at school as a focus of real activity in the field of pro-European education and upbringing. Members can be physical persons over 15 years from the community of students, their parents and teachers.
Aims and activities of European Club at school: The aim of the association is to develop European awareness among its members, students of the school and their parents and spread it through the examples of good practice to the wide community of the school and its environment. The club also focuses on the support of mutual tolerance and respect, spread the thoughts of European pluralism with its similarities and differences, develop the students’ sense of responsibility as young European citizens especially when it comes to peace, human rights, protection of the environment and cultural heritage.
During the fulfilment of its goals the association:
- collects available materials and information on the European Union, tasks and mission of European Council, European Parliament, European Commission, etc.
- participates in regular international initiatives and projects, e.g. Europe in School,
- supports European activities such as Europe Day, European Day of Languages, etc.
- develops cooperation and data exchange among clubs on both national and international level,
- participates in international projects aimed at gaining knowledge about everyday life of peers in various European countries,
- organizes exchange stays and visits between schools from various European countries,
- participates in the selection, production and utilization of suitable education materials, games, contests, school magazines etc.
